Reticulum can run over a wide range of hardware and communication mediums.

The Reticulum Network Stack runs on most devices with a Python 3 runtime. For more constrained systems, microReticulum is a C++ port designed for 32-bit MCUs (as well as Linux SBCs).cite-ref-1[1]

Reticulum runs over Ethernet, WiFi, LoRa (with RNode), packet radio modems, serial lines, BLEcite-ref-2[2], and even QRcite-ref-3[3].

RNode

RNodes are easily made from readily available development boards. They communicate with a host instance over USB or Bluetooth.

microReticulum's RNode firmware turns RNodes into fully self-contained Reticulum nodes, eliminating the need for a host instance.
